Buzzy Bee

This concept reimagines New Zealand’s iconic Buzzy Bee, drawing on its joyful palette of bright reds, yellows, and blues. First produced in the 1930s, Buzzy Bee became a beloved symbol of post-war childhood and remains a cherished piece of Kiwiana. For me it evokes memories of imagination, play and the sparks of early creativity. Someone had to paint a Buzzy Bee, it may as well be me!
