Bonnie began with the idea of bees as nature’s storytellers, moving between places and helping new life grow. This inspired reflections on folk art and the way artists have long shared stories through their creations. With folk-inspired elements and touches of Aotearoa’s native plants, Bonnie hopes that Bumble brings colour and joy to Pōneke as she pollinates her way around the city.
