About Life Flight
Since 1975, over 40,000 Kiwis have been flown by Life Flight in the Air Ambulance Planes or Wellington-based Westpac Chopper. The support of the community keeps the crews in the air, saving lives. The Mills Albert Bee in the City Art Trail will provide much-needed funds to keep Life Flight flying.

Critical care when it matters most
Every day, five Kiwis need a Life Flight. Whether it’s a critically ill baby, a serious accident, or a remote medical emergency, Life Flight is ready 24/7. Your support makes these missions possible.
Your support takes us further
Life Flight relies on the kindness of the community, businesses, and volunteers to keep flying. Whether you join Bee in the City as a sponsor, volunteer, artist, or school – you’ll be part of something life changing.

Air Ambulance Planes
These flying intensive care wards transfer critically ill patients to get the specialist care they urgently need all across Aotearoa New Zealand. One in four missions are for children or babies in need of urgent care.

Westpac Chopper
When there are minutes to spare or the location is challenging, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter team get a call. Cardiac arrests, road accidents, search and rescue, and much more – every day is different for the pilot, crew, and critical care paramedic onboard.
