Celebrating Aotearoa’s Creative Community
We were blown away by the response to our call for Bee, receiving over 130 registrations from artists all across the motu.
At our art selection event earlier this year at Westpac’s Wellington headquarters our sponsors helped us shortlist and select the final designs that would become part of the Bee in the City trail.
The Wellington Company kindly donated a painting space, where our artists came together in the spring to decorate the Bees with their designs.
Each design has its own story, and we can’t wait for you to uncover them as you take part in the trail!
Bee in the City launches on 14 September 2026 and the trail will be live until the Farewell Weekend on 21-22 November.. afterwards, the Bees will all be auctioned to raise life-saving funds for Life Flight.
